HUNTER VALLEY (1 DAY)
Passing over the Hawkesbury
River as we leave the city behind on route to NSW’s famous wine
country, we stop for morning tea with the bell birds,
Kookabura’s, and Wallabies on top of the majestic Watagan
Mountains.
Time to hit the wine trail visiting as
many of the Hunters best known and some not as well known
boutique cellar doors.
One of the highlights of the days trip
around the hunter is the superb gourmet lunch and wines provided
inclusive in the tours cost.
After lunch we head for Historic wollombi tasting some more wines on the way we cross the broken back
range via Mt View and the scenery is stunning arriving at
wollombi on the Great North Road Route 181, originally formed by
the convicts, we have time to take in some of the old world and
feel the history and of course try the legendary Dr Jurds Jungle
Juice or maybe a nice cold beer at the Pub.
